  • 10 oz rigatoni pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

  • 2 tbsp butter (divided)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning (plus more to taste)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

  2. Cook rigatoni in salted boiling water until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Reserve half a cup of pasta water before draining.
  3. In the same skillet, melt remaining butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  4. Stir in grated Parmesan until melted, adjusting seasoning as needed.
  5. Combine cooked rigatoni with the sauce, adding reserved pasta water for desired consistency, then fold in steak tips.
