Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into thin strips
  • 2 cups fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice or noodles

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the sliced chicken seasoned with salt and pepper. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Once cooked through, remove from the skillet and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of vegetable oil. Toss in green beans and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until they are bright green and tender-crisp.
  3. Add minced garlic and ginger to the skillet. Cook for just 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes if you like some heat. Pour this mixture over your chicken and green beans. Stir everything together and cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  5. Serve your Chicken and Green Bean Stir-Fry over warm rice or noodles.
