  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 200g mushrooms, finely chopped
  • 150g fresh spinach
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 100g cheese (mozzarella or cheddar), grated
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, sauté onion and garlic until translucent.
  3. Add mushrooms and cook until softened; then stir in spinach until wilted. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Remove from heat and mix in grated cheese and cream cheese.
  5. Roll out puff pastry on a floured surface; cut into 24 squares.
  6. Place a teaspoon of filling in the center of each square; fold over and seal edges.
  7. Brush tops with egg wash.
  8. Arrange on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Allow cooling for 10 minutes before serving.
