  • 4 ripe but firm pears (Bartlett, Anjou, or Bosc)
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • ¼ cup crumbled blue cheese (or Gorgonzola for a milder taste)
  • ¼ cup toasted walnuts, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons honey (plus more for drizzling)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Wash and halve the pears lengthwise; remove the core.
  3. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, honey, lemon juice, and cinnamon.
  4. Place pear halves cut-side up on a lined baking sheet and drizzle with the butter-honey mixture.
